ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-- (EON: Enhanced Online News) -- Arrow Electronics Inc. (NYSE: ARW) announced that its president of global enterprise computing solutions, Andy Bryant, was presented with a Bronze Stevie® Award in the “Executive of the Year – Computer Services” category at the 11th annual American Business Awards held Sept. 16.
Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.
Under Bryant’s leadership, the enterprise computing solutions business has grown to over 30 percent of Arrow’s revenues by both expanding its core infrastructure distribution business as well as increasing its depth in complementary high-growth markets, such as software, security, virtualization, networking and services. In 2012, the ECS business generated $7 billion in revenue for Arrow and connected more than 12,000 solution providers in 28 countries around the world with a broad portfolio of technology solutions from more than 75 industry-leading suppliers. It has consistently outperformed its peer group and the market through organic growth, strategic acquisitions and a strong management team under Bryant’s direction.
