Michael J. Long, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer


Michael J. Long is chairman, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Arrow Electronics, Inc.

Prior to being named CEO in May 2009, Long served as president and chief operating officer (COO) of Arrow, with responsibility for all of the company’s operations and business units.

Before that, Long served as senior vice president of Arrow and president of the company’s Global Components business with responsibility for overseeing Arrow’s semiconductor, passive, electromechanical and connector products and services businesses worldwide.

Long has been with Arrow since 1991 when Arrow merged with Schweber Electronics, a company where he held various leadership roles from 1983 to 1990. In 1994, Long was president, Capstone Electronics, an Arrow company, and from 1995 to 1999, he was president, Gates/Arrow Distributing. From 1998 to 2005, Long was president and COO, Arrow North American Computer Products (now Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions). As a result of his success in running and growing this business, Long was named one of Computer Reseller News' “Top 25 Executives” in 2002 and 2004. Long also served as president, North America and Asia/Pacific components.

Long holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin and attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is active in the Young Presidents’ Organization, a global peer networking group. He serves on the boards of AmerisourceBergen, UCHealth and The National Western Stock Show.

Sean J. Kerins, Chief Operating Officer


Sean Kerins serves as chief operating officer of Arrow Electronics, Inc. with responsibility for sales, marketing and operations for the global components and global enterprise computing solutions businesses. Kerins brings more than 25 years of corporate, international management and sales experience.

Kerins most recently served as president of Arrow’s global enterprise computing solutions business. He was previously president of the North American region for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business. He joined Arrow in 2007 as vice president of North American storage and networking for enterprise computing solutions.

Prior to joining Arrow, Kerins spent 10 years at EMC, serving in sales, marketing, and professional services roles around the world. Earlier in his career, Kerins held progressively senior roles with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, and he served as an industrial engineer with General Motors.

Kerins holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Syracuse University and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

W. Victor Gao, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer


W. Victor Gao is senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Arrow Electronics, Inc. He leads Arrow’s global brand, customer experience, communications, and corporate social responsibility. Gao also serves as strategy leader for Arrow’s digital and platform business.

Prior to Arrow, Gao was vice president of digital for Yell Group plc, a spinoff of British Telecom and Telefónica, based in the United Kingdom. Previously, he served in various leadership capacities at Microsoft and Yahoo!, and spent 14 years in EMEA and the Asia Pacific.

Gao is a member of the Aspen Institute, an American nonpartisan education and policy studies group based in Washington, D.C. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University. He has completed the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab program at MIT and the Blockchain Strategy Programme at University of Oxford.

Carine Jean-Claude, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer


Carine Jean-Claude is senior vice president and chief legal officer for Arrow Electronics, Inc., with responsibility for leading global legal matters including corporate governance, compliance, litigation, and business support at the operational level.

Jean-Claude previously served as chief compliance officer and vice president, legal affairs for Arrow Electronics since 2017. She joined Arrow in 2000 and served in roles of increasing legal and compliance responsibility. Prior to joining Arrow, Ms. Jean-Claude worked for the law firms of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson, and Edwards & Angell in New York City.

Jean-Claude holds a juris doctorate from Boston University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in finance from New York University.

Chuck Kostalnick, Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer


Chuck Kostalnick is senior vice president and chief supply chain officer for Arrow Electronics, Inc. His responsibilities include operational excellence in the global supply chain organization, including warehouse operations, transportation, programming, integration services and quality.

Kostalnick rejoined Arrow in 2016 as president of Arrow’s global sustainable technology solutions business. Prior to this role, he served as chief business officer and executive vice president for Sanmina Corporation, as well as a variety of leadership and sales positions at Avnet and Bell Micro. Before that, he served in sales leadership roles at Arrow from 2000 to 2005.

Kostalnick holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is currently on the Board of CU’s Leeds School of Business.

Vincent P. Melvin, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer


Vincent Melvin is senior vice president and chief information officer of Arrow Electronics, Inc., responsible for managing the company's global information technology systems and operations. Melvin joined Arrow in 2006 and has led many transformational projects across Arrow’s global business. He is responsible for all of Arrow’s global technology operations, development, and support functions and participates actively with internal and external customers and suppliers. He focuses on delivering differentiated value and capability across Arrow's complete range of electronics and technology lifecycle services.

Prior to Arrow, Melvin was executive vice president and chief information officer of Sanmina-SCI, Inc., a leading electronics manufacturing services provider. He started his career with IBM, where he held various leadership and technical roles in information technology, supply chain logistics, and sales.

Melvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Trinity College and a Master of Science degree in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He currently serves on the board of the Colorado Technology Association.

Kristin D. Russell, President, Global Enterprise Computing Solutions


Kristin Russell serves as president of Arrow’s global enterprise computing solutions business providing data-center solutions, services and support to value-added resellers, managed services providers, system integrators and their customers.

Russell most recently served as president of Arrow’s global services business since 2016. Prior to joining Arrow, Russell spent two years as managing director for public and private sectors at Deloitte Consulting and, from 2011 to 2014, served as secretary of technology and chief information officer for the State of Colorado. Earlier in her career, she held progressively senior roles at Oracle and Sun Microsystems.

Russell holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from the University of Colorado.

Kirk Schell, President, Global Components


Kirk Schell is president of Arrow’s global components business, which provides sales, marketing, engineering and supply chain services to semiconductor and passive electromechanical component suppliers and their customers.

Prior to joining Arrow, Schell spent nearly 25 years at Dell Technologies, where he was most recently responsible for global online B2B sales. Previously, he led sales for Dell’s client solutions portfolio in the Asia-Pacific region and was the general manager of Dell’s displays group.

Schell holds a mechanical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Shantnu Sharma, Senior Vice President, and Chief Strategy and Technology Officer


Shantnu Sharma is Arrow’s chief strategy and technology officer, where he leads strategic planning and all merger and acquisition activity.

Prior to joining Arrow, Sharma spent 10 years as the head of strategy, M&A, and business development at Advanced Micro Devices. Before that, he spent four years at McKinsey, where he helped found the consultancy’s cyber security practice. He is the holder of seven patents.

Sharma holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Biria Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and a master’s degree in management from MIT.

Gretchen K. Zech, Senior Vice President, and Chief Governance, Sustainability, and Human Resources Officer


Gretchen Zech is senior vice president, chief governance, sustainability, and human resources officer for Arrow Electronics, Inc. A member of Arrow's executive committee, she leads the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, HR strategy, operations, technologies, and business partnerships around the world. She also oversees the company’s legal, compliance, and real estate functions.

Zech joined Arrow in 2011 from Dex One, having served as their senior vice president and chief human resources officer since 2006. Before joining Dex, she was the HR group vice president at Gartner, responsible for several of the organization's global businesses and corporate groups. Her previous roles include HR leadership positions with Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea, Bloomingdale's, Best Buy, and Johnson Controls.

A Society for Human Resource Management senior certified professional (SHRM-SCP), having also served on the SHRM board of directors, Zech holds a bachelor's degree in human resource management from The University of Michigan.
