Arrow Electronics and Boundary Devices Launch Development Kit Featuring Freescale i.MX6 processor

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2012-- Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) has introduced the Nitrogen 6X, the first Freescale i.MX6-based development kit by Boundary Devices.

Arrow customers will have early access to the new multicore multimedia applications processor from Freescale, the i.MX6. The development board will be software compatible with the existing Freescale software releases. With a wide variety of software partners already supporting the Nitrogen6X, Arrow offers a complete hardware and software solution to the industrial, medical and multimedia based applications.
