|Arrow Electronics Acquires Jakob Hatteland Electronic AS|
MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 14, 2000--Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Jakob Hatteland Electronic AS ("JHE"), one of the Nordic region's leading distributors of electronic components. Headquartered in Nedre Vats, Norway, JHE serves the entire Nordic region. Among its leading lines are Infineon, Philips, NEC, and Analog Devices. The company's revenues approximate $150 million.
