MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 6, 2009-- Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) announced that it has been certified by the Defense Supply Center, Columbus (DSCC) as an approved member of the Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD). The QSLD is a new program designed to certify electronics distributors that work with the DSCC, a supply/demand chain in the Defense Logistics Agency, and other regulatory agencies.

Arrow is among the first distributors to be audited and certified under the program.

Arrow’s Reno, Nev. location is now a certified QSLD facility and has been approved to supply military- and commercial-grade product. This certification enables Arrow to conduct future business with DSCC and other regulatory agencies.
